The MSC-I is an audio input module with a 3.5mm stereo connection in a single-gang decora style metal plate. It provides a rugged, good-looking panel for taking an unbalanced stereo signal, then converting it to a transformer balanced mono signal prior to inputting it into an existed sound system. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the sound system side of the 3.5mm connector are made via screw terminals. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White.
