MODULAR SOUND CONTROLS - MSC Series

The HPS series are nylon decora cover plates for providing a finished appearance to the installation of our decora modules. Cover plates are available in single gang (HPS-1), dual gang (HPS-2), or triple gang (HPS-3). They are available in Brown, Ivory or White.

The MSC-A has a transformer isolated RCA jack and a 3.5mm jack for an unbalanced mono line input to balanced mono (600 ohm) line output in a single-gang decora style Lexan panel. The MSC-A provides an easy way to input mono audio signals from a variety of audio devices into an existing sound system. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and can be finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the sound system side of the interface consist of a 3-pin terminal. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White.

The MSC-D is a microphone input module with two 3-pin female XLR connections in a single-gang decora style metal plate. The MSC-D provides a rugged, yet good looking, panel for inputting microphone signals into an existing sound system. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the sound system side of the microphone connector are made via screw terminals. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White.

The MSC-G is a microphone input module with two 3-pin male XLR connections in a single-gang decora style metal plate. The MSC-G provides a rugged, yet good looking, panel for inputting microphone signals into an existing sound system. The MSC-K provides a female RCA jack on the front side of the panel for interfacing a video camera into a distributed video system. The backside connection is a female F type connector. The interface connection is mounted in a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel. The MSC-K is an easy way to interface a camera into a video system. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White.

The MSC-P provides a lighted switch for turning a sound system on and off. The control is built on a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the sound system side of the on/off switch are made via screw terminals. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White.

The MSC-RJ provides a single RJ-45 Category 6 connection in a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the backside of the interface are made via a tool-less punch down block. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White.

The MSC-RU is a single-gang decora module that provides a Cat6 network connection, and sound system audio out via a pair of color-coded RCA female jacks. The module mounts into a standard electrical box (not provided) and is finished off with a matching decora cover plate (see HPS1-B). The Cat6 network connection is made using a standard110 punch down block on the back of the module. The wiring must be done to either TIA/EIA 568A or 568B standards. The audio output connection is made using a 3-pin euro style terminal. Pin 1 is shield, pin 2 is negative, and pin 3 is positive. The audio output is transformer balanced. The MSC-RU module is available in brown, ivory or white.
