The MSC-RJ provides a single RJ-45 Category 6 connection in a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel. The MSC-RU is a single-gang decora module that provides a Cat6 network connection, and sound system audio out via a pair of color-coded RCA female jacks. The module mounts into a standard electrical box (not provided) and is finished off with a matching decora cover plate (see HPS1-B). The Cat6 network connection is made using a standard110 punch down block on the back of the module. The wiring must be done to either TIA/EIA 568A or 568B standards. The audio output connection is made using a 3-pin euro style terminal. Pin 1 is shield, pin 2 is negative, and pin 3 is positive. The audio output is transformer balanced. The MSC-RU module is available in brown, ivory or white. -
The MSC-S is a DPDT center-off switch used for switching two different amplified microphone signals. The standard MSC-S comes labeled as Chapel and Local Microphone, but custom labeling is available. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the sound system side of the switch are made via pigtail wires. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White. -
The MSC-S is a DPDT center-off switch used for switching two different amplified microphone signals. The standard MSC-S2 comes labeled as Chapel and Relief Society, but custom labeling is available. The MSC-T is a pair of transformer isolated (600 ohm) jacks for interfacing a tape recorder to an existing sound system for recording purposes. The interface is all contained in a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel. The MSC-T provides an easy way to input balanced mono line level or mic level signals from an existing sound system into a tape recorder. The module mounts into a standard single-gang electrical box (not provided) and is finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS-1). Connections on the sound system side of the interface are made via screw terminals. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White. -
The MSC-U is a transformer isolated (600 ohm) jack for interfacing a tape recorder to an existing sound system for recording purposes. The interface is all contained in a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel. The MSC-U provides an easy way to input balanced mono line level signals from an existing sound system into a tape recorder. The MSC-V is a volume control for use in 70.7V distributed sound systems. All are built on a single-gang decora style Lexan plastic panel for mounting in a single-gang electrical box. The volume control knob on each MSC-V module is color coordinated with the color of the panel. The modules mount into electrical boxes (not provided) and are then finished off using a matching decora cover plate (see HPS Series). Connections on the sound system side of the volume control are made via screw terminals on the 10W, 35W & 100W versions. Modules are available in Brown, Ivory or White. -
The MSC-V10K is a volume control for use in 8-ohm distributed sound systems. The volume control consists of a high quality 10K potentiometer with a knob that is color coordinated with the color of the panel. The module mounts into standard electrical boxes (not provided) and is finished off with a matching decora cover plate (see HPS1). Connections on the backside of the module are made via a 3-pin euro style connector. The MSC-V10K modules are available in brown, ivory or white. -
The MSC-VO provides a gold-plated RCA (front) to F (back) on a single-gang decora style panel. The MSC-VO is an easy way to interface a composite video signal. The module mounts into a standard electrical box (not provided) and is finished off with a matching decora cover plate (see HPS series). The MSC-VO module is available in brown, ivory, and white. -
The MSC-W provides passive, transformer isolated RCA jacks for a unbalanced stereo line to mono balanced 600 ohm line interface in a Decora style panel. A user adjustable attenuation control is provided as well. The MSC-W is an easy way to provide a fixed location connection point for a DVD, VCR, CD or tape player. Connection on the sound system side of the balanced line interface is made using screw terminals. Panels are available in Ivory, White and Brown.
